2008 National Leader’s Conference held at Mexican partner school

OC partner school Puebla Bible Seminary (PBS) recently hosted the 2008 National Leader’s Conference, designed to minister to church leadership serving in Bible churches throughout Mexico. CAM International, an evangelical non-profit devoted to the Spanish-speaking Church, organized the event.

About 150 people from over 11 states in Mexico came together for encouragement, relationship renewal, learning new ministry skills and gaining insights into how to do better ministry work. A large number of attendees had either graduated or taken classes at PBS.

Conference evaluations indicate that the workshops were instructive and participants left feeling strengthened and with a greater love for their ministry. One pastor said, “Now I understand [why] God has permitted many things to happen in my life,” while another said, “We came tired…but now, we are leaving refreshed in our spirits.” One indicated that the conference “strengthened our marriages and our congregations to overcome the devil.”
