OC’s second Institute of 2008 - Prague, Czech Republic

OC’s second 2008 Institute for Excellence in Christian Leadership Development was held in Prague February 18-22. The event was hosted by OC partner International Baptist Theological Seminary (IBTS).

 

A total of 19 participants attended the Institute, including the President of every invited school in the region except one, as well as a few additional participants. Those who attended were leaders of strategic training programs in the region, coming from Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, Slovakia, Poland, Czech Republic, Serbia, Romania and Hungary.

 

During the five-day Institute themed “Leadership Matters,” regional seminary presidents focused on topics designed to equip them to more effectively lead their schools.

 

Dr. Scott Cunningham, OC’s Dean of Leadership Development, felt the Institute went very well and participants truly benefited from the efforts. “Thank the Lord for the very positive tone we have seen this week,” he shared. “[Continue to pray] that these leaders would now implement what they have learned this week in their respective schools.”
