Graduate’s ministry reaching Afghans, Iranians and Turks

Peter* is a 2005 graduate of an OC Middle East partner school which seeks to strengthen and expand the Iranian Church through leadership training, producing and distributing materials, television programs and practical ministry.

Peter’s ministry has had much momentum in a Middle Eastern city where many Iranians live and a small Iranian church was in need of a trained leader. His church ministry began with devotions, youth activity, daily prayer meetings and cell groups.  Soon after, he led an ex-Afghan officer to Christ, and through the officer, other Afghans came to the church. Peter’s Gospel teaching expanded to an additional 13 Afghans interested in Christianity. Five Afghans, one Iranian and two Turks gave their lives to Christ, and several more Iranians are attending the church now.

Peter has returned to his home country in the Middle East to further his ministry. Through personal evangelism and Scripture distribution, over 100 people are in his house churches. This year, 12 have studied through the OC partner school and are assisting in house churches.
