Kenyan graduate uses training to provide “African solutions for African problems”
Since graduating with his Bachelor’s degree in 1997 from the Africa Theological Seminary (ATSK), Kenya, Rev. Gideon Wanyama has been an active church planter and conference speaker. Having planted over 10 churches, he oversees several and sees much growth, including one congregation that has grown from 30 members to over 200. In addition, he has established and runs a Bible school and serves as the Chairman of ATSK Alumni.
The seminary says they have equipped him to train others. “The education he acquired has sharpened his ministry skills [and has] proved valuable to his ministry.” Rev. Wanyama has also started a ministry in Zambia and hopes to impact that nation in the same way by “providing African solutions for African problems.”
Rev. Wanyama is only one example of thousands of nationals being trained to take the Gospel to the unreached.
