New Indian partner school has 1200 graduates
Clark Theological College (CTC) in Nagaland is one of the premier theological institutions in Northeast India. Since its inception in 1973, CTC has been committed to the task of Christian leadership development and has been making an impact upon individual lives and churches near and far.
CTC boasts 1200 graduates, 40 fulltime staff members, a growing library of more than 25,000 volumes, an archive that includes a tribal religion collection, a student body representing more than 40 different cultures and communities coming from five nations and an eco-friendly campus of 60 acres. CTC also offers a Master’s degree in Pastoral Ministry.
With their motto, “Called out for the Great Harvest,” CTC is thankful for their many alumni who are effectively making an impact around the world and bearing lasting fruit. Global concerns like tsunamis, HIV/AIDS, peace and reconciliation are concerns for CTC as well. The college has conducted seminars on such issues, incorporated them into curricula and sent student relief teams to help tsunami-affected people in South India.
Bachelor of Theology graduate Rev. N. Tzudir enrolled at CTC after accepting Christ as his personal Savior. “Looking back, I thank God for the ministry of CTC, its strong evangelical stance and for maintaining spiritual and academic excellence in its students,” he says. “CTC is very much appreciated in this part of the world.” Today, Rev. Tzudir is the Senior Pastor of a Baptist church and has been in pastoral ministry for 25 years.
