Overseas Council received The Henry Parsons Crowell Award for Excellence and Innovation in the Extension of Evangelical Christianity in 2007. This award was presented by the Board of Trustees of The Crowell Trust at a banquet hosted in Indianapolis.

Overseas Council has become a global leader in building capacity and organizational excellence at evangelical centers for theological education, particularly in non-Christian parts of the world. To continue to equip Christian leaders in their own cultural context, OC must stand at the forefront of knowledge and expertise in its mission to provide effective leadership for the transforming Church in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East.

We are committed to constant research and evaluation of ministry opportunities and bring to the table a community of discerning minds that are in touch with critical needs around the world: people and projects that are making a difference in the places where leadership training is most needed. We stand ready to work with you to identify strategies and systems that help your foundation achieve its funding priorities.

We believe that "iron sharpens iron" as Jesus virtually echoes the famous proverb with his strategy: "And Jesus sent them out two by two," Luke 10:1. We welcome the opportunity to meet with you and your Board and identify collaborative ways to leverage our expertise, resources and talents and together expand God's Kingdom in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

OC values the capacity of foundations to make long-term investments in OC programs and projects, which in turn helps to effectively advance your charitable giving goals. We also appreciate the important role that foundations play through one-time investments in major projects and campaigns. These investments have a lasting impact on OC's ability to help its partner schools provide the highest quality of Christian leadership training in the world.

• Join or establish a local Advisory Council in your community to help strengthen our ministry.
• Read our eNewsletters, newsletters and regular updates on what God is doing through OC. Let us know your specific areas of interest for customized communication.
• Participate in OC Global Overviews or Annual Donor Meetings and hear from global and local experts.
• Make a grant to the ministry of OC, to a specific program or a project of your choice around the world. (OC always appreciates the opportunity to designate unrestricted gifts for use where the need is greatest.) We assure you of prompt and informative progress reports.
