Thank you for your interest in becoming a partner with OC. The following suggestions are offered as you consider the possibilities:

Research the worldwide work of OC
This website contains a variety of information about our worldwide ministry, as does the Internet. You may have friends who support OC, or your church may already be doing so. Through the Contact Us form on this website, we can provide the names of a few individuals who are willing to share their experiences, as well as a few churches around the country that support OC’s ministry.

Pray for the effectiveness of OC’s ministry
OC’s ministry is informally described as Advancing Christian Leaders. Receiving prayerful support of friends is critically important, as it has been since OC’s birth in 1974. Today, we have 100+ institutional partners in 60+ countries throughout Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East.

The OC staff, headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, meets each weekday at 8:30 AM (Eastern time) to pray for our partner institutions, our partner donors, our friends and for each other. Whether at that time or others, please pray for OC. Suggestions for prayer focus include:

• The region or regions of the world in which you are interested [see Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East]
• OC’s partner institutions in those regions
• Assistance provided to partner institutions, such as student and faculty scholarships, campus development projects, library resources and regional Institutes for Excellence in Christian Leadership Development
• Approximately 35,000 students daily in the classrooms at our partner institutions and Bible seminaries, as well as the men and women who lead those seminaries, the faculty and staff
• The fewer than two dozen women and men who comprise the OC staff in Indianapolis and around the world, including our four Regional Directors in Africa, Asia, Europe/Middle East and Latin America
• Our volunteer Board of Directors
• Friends in the U.S. who informally associate as Local Advisory Councils and act on OC’s behalf in their city and state

• Join our mailing list / eNews list and receive updates on the ministry
• Attend a regional or national information sharing event, such as a Leadership Connection or Annual Donor Meeting [see Calendar of Events]
• Make a non-designated, tax-deductible financial contribution via check, credit card or this website – your gift will be promptly acknowledged with a letter of thanks from OC’s President & CEO; non-designated gifts are used by OC where most needed
  • While all financial contributions to OC are appreciated, we specifically invite you to consider funding at least one student scholarship with a continuing monthly contribution of $100 US – each of our partners’ 35,000 students can be helped by consistent and faithful giving specifically for academic scholarships, as $1,200 US per year is an average scholarship expense
  • You may designate/direct any contribution in writing to a region of the world or to an aspect of OC’s ministry work regardless of location.
